MESSAGE *I am writing to urge you to oppose plans for SL Green, Caesars Entertainment, and Roc Nation's Times Square casino that promises to hurt Broadway and the economic activity it supports, prey on vulnerable New Yorkers and generate fresh quality of life problems for residents. That’s why 71% of registered voters in neighborhoods surrounding Times Square are opposed to a new casino in the neighborhood. Bringing a casino to Broadway would hurt local businesses, further snarl traffic and make Times Square less safe, less livable and less friendly to the pedestrians and families that drive the area's economy. This is the only casino proposal that would cannibalize an existing industry that employs 100,000 workers and drives billions in economic activity. Vote NO to the Times Square casino.
